Computer Technology Timeline
The "Brains" inside a computer that enables it to rapidly process data have quickly evolved over the years from using vacuum tubes in the 1940s, to transistors in the 1950s, to Hybrid Circuits in the 1960's, to integrated circuits in the 1970s, and to Very Large Scale Integrated circuits (VLSI) in the 1980s.

Chip Museum
What is "Chip" and why "Museum"?
Chip (short for microchip) or integrated circuit (IC) is electronic device, consisting essentially of semiconductor plate (mostly silicon) with huge number of tiny electronic component such as transistors, capacitors, diodes, resistors, inductors... integrated on its surface.
Museum, because I truly believe that today, when the world becoming aware of the limited resources at its disposal, when recycling business grow and wantonly destroys some very valuable pieces of our technological history, "Chip Museum", intended to collect, preserve, protect and promote chips and history of their development, may be a good thing to do.

Antique Chip Collector's Page, The
Chip Collecting
Perhaps vintage is a better term than antique although, in Internet years, integrated circuits have been around for more than 120 years. It is absolutely amazing the number and variety of computing devices that have been created and obsolesced in just 40 years. Integrated circuits are used for many purposes, but these pages focus primarily on vintage computing chips from the 60's-80's.

List of web browsers
The following is a list of notable web browsers.
This is a table of personal computer web browsers by year of release of major version, in chronological order, with the approximate number of worldwide Internet users in millions. Note that Internet user data is related to the entire market, not the versions released in that year. The increased growth of the Internet in the 1990s and 2000s means that current browsers with small market shares have more total users than the entire market early on. For example, 90% market share in 1997 would be roughly 60 million users, but by the start of 2007 9% market share would equate to over 90 million users.
