Programming Languages
What can computers do for you? Computers can execute tasks very rapidly, but in order to achieve this they need an accurate description of the task. They can handle a greater amount of input data than you can. But they can not design a strategy to solve problems for you. So if you can not figure out the procedure that solve your problem computers cannot help you.
The Computers own language. Computers do not understand any of the natural languages such as English, French or German. Their proper language, also called machine language, is only composed of two symbols “0” and “1”, or power “on” - “off”. They have a sort of a dictionary containing all valid words of this language. These words are the basic instructions, such as “add 1 to some number”, “are two values the same” or “copy a byte of memory to another place”. The execution of these basic instructions are encoded by hardware components of the processor.

Java Programming Language Resources
A great many products and applications are made possible by the Java programming language. Currently under a GNU General Public License, its use is especially widespread. It can be found in cryptographic programs, mobile applets and smart phones (Google’s Android phones, for instance) and is one of the most important languages for beginning programmers to learn.

History of Java
In 1991, Sun Microsystems was attempting to develop a new technology for programming next generation smart appliances.
The original plan was for the Star7 operating system to be developed in C++ but rejected the idea for several reasons. As a result we have new language that was better for the purposes of the Green project than C++ developed by Gosling. He called the language Oak in honor of a tree that could be seen from his office window.

Imagining the Internet - A History and Forecast
Imagining the Internet's
Quick Look at the Early History of the Internet
President Dwight D. Eisenhower initiated the Advanced Research Projects Agency (ARPA) after the Soviet launch of Sputnik I in 1957. Eisenhower believed in the great value of science, and formed ARPA in 1958 in a quest for "the scientific improvement" of U.S. defense. This project employed, at one time or another, some of the finest engineers and scientists of the late 20th century. The early emphasis was on missile-defense systems and the detection of nuclear bomb tests. It wasn't until 1962, when J.C.R. Licklider arrived on the management team, that ARPA began investigating the idea of networked computers.
