Veeam Software is an information technology and software company based in Columbus, Ohio. It produces software products for managing and protecting virtual server environments. Veeam launched their first product, Veeam Monitor, in 2006, and added Veeam Reporter in 2007. Veeam acquired nworks in 2008 to better integrate VMware management with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager.Veeam's founders and management team previously worked at Aelita Software Corporation, which was acquired by Quest Software in 2004. The company gained attention with a free product, FastSCP.Veeam's Backup & Replication product won "Product of Year" Gold Award of TechTarget in 2009, as well as "Best of Show" and "Best New Technology" awards at VMworld 2010.
