OMNI is a retail tech company that fixes today's broken browse-to-buy path for retailers, brands, and supply companies.

Retail is growing even though retailing is being massively disrupted. Growing, disrupted markets are attractive opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs. OMNI's insight is that shopping is infuriating if you don't know exactly what you are looking for. This problem has only gotten worse with the reduction in human assistance and the rapid expansion of assortments powered by marketplaces. Amazon, the paragon of retail disruption, has this problem in spades. 387,338 backpacks is overwhelming, and search, filtering, and scrolling (even at Amazon) are inadequate to overcome this 'paradox of choice' problem. However, Amazon is a technology company with a membership retail model (Prime) that locks in their customers through radical convenience. No retailer can 'out Amazon' Amazon, and that is where OMNI comes in. OMNI's mission is to fix the broken 'browse-to-buy' journey described above. Our Intelligent Assistants appear on retailers' sites as parametric search (i.e., facets or faceted navigation) and product finders. However OMNI's secret sauce is the underlying platform that powers these interfaces. The foundation is the world’s most richly attributed usage-based product library covering millions of performance-based SKUs in product categories that account for > $1 trillion in NA retail sales. The next layer is the rules engine that includes the question and answer library and the rules that apply these filtering criteria to the given product category. The next layer includes the middle tier applications that optimize the performance of the interfaces and the analytics capabilities that power our first-of-its-kind Full Visit Analytics. Finally, the platform is exposed through APIs that will enable native integration with IBM, Oracle, SAP/Hybris, and Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Demandware in addition to OMNI's clients. We see stores becoming increasingly digitized and believe that chat and voice will overtake the desktop experience in shopping and are agnostic to the interface. Our platform is built to serve these emerging interfaces. We are 100% focused on enterprise-class customers. Our customers include the leading office products retailer, leading toys/juvenile retailer, and a leading computer brand. They have all expanded and renewed with OMNI because we have proven Revenue Per Visit Lifts of between 20% and over 300% with shoppers who use OMNI's Intelligent Assistants as compared to the status quo browse-to-buy journey.
