Clipchamp is building in-browser applications that overcome limitations of both desktop and Cloud-based alternatives. Its area of expertise is digital video processing and its range of products is making it easier for anyone to convert, compress, edit, record, share & upload their own videos and collect videos from others. The company is headquartered in Brisbane and was started in early 2013. It has since published 3 products that are all gaining traction internationally with a growing customer base worldwide. For instance, its API lets any website embed a HTML5 webcam recorder and/or video uploader that comes with a number of unique capabilities. The API and its WordPress plugin are making it easier to accept video files from website visitors and web app users and enable anyone to convert, compress, share and play videos independent of operating systems and device types. Before Clipchamp, team members built enterprise software used by tens of thousands of customers and initiated, developed and evangelised a range of software products for some of the world's largest enterprise application providers.
