Women in Security and Privacy (WISP)

WISP aims to advance women in the privacy and security industries by providing advocacy, networking, mentoring, and leadership development.

Women in Security and Privacy is a nonprofit organization that focuses on promoting development, advancement, and inclusion of women in privacy and security. It mainly focuses on education, mentoring and networking, advancement, leadership, and research of women in the security and privacy sectors. Women in Security and Privacy facilitates events and training programs that focus on career development and offers job opportunities. It also offers a platform that enables women to publish and share articles and research. Women in Security and Privacy was founded in 2014 by Elena Elkina, Debra Farber, Kenesa Ahmad, Julia Hoffmann, Alya Gennaro, Fatima Khan, and Katrin Anna Rucker. And it is headquartered in San Francisco, California.
