Vigil was incorporated on June 4, 2010 under the laws of the province of British Columbia. Vigil is a research and development company specializing in the development of wireless sensor networks for security and life safety applications. The wireless sensor network, which utilizes Vigil's proprietary sensor technology, allows for real-time monitoring of sites, personnel, equipment and environmental conditions over a geographic area while providing real-time situational awareness. The initial target market for the products will be the mining, petrochemical and resource industries.
