The Microsoft Imagine Fund is a student startup fund and school. They help US student entrepreneurs develop great ideas into successful startups and get them ready to the next level of funding. Throughout the course of a 10 week startup training program, students will learn how to build a business around their technology with the support of seasoned entrepreneurs and Microsoft technical mentors. The program will be delivered as an immersive virtual student startup school, which will provide an interactive learning platform to guide them through product development, customer acquisition, investor strategies and pitching. In addition to the comprehensive training and mentorship, student teams will be granted seed funding, a social media marketing consultation and a pitch video production that will help to jump-start their startup. By the end of the program, Microsoft Imagine Fund Startups will be perfectly positioned to find that next investor, build that next partnership or join a later stage accelerator.
