Orey Financial - Instituição Financeira de Crédito, SA, is a financial company that has been in the marketplace since 2004. Throughout its history it has been renowned for the launch of innovative financial products and solutions on the domestic market and, in some cases, on the international market, too. At this time, its business is centred on the investment strategies area, with a focus on online brokerage and asset management. In the online brokerage area its business is carried on in Portugal, where it occupies a leading position in several business areas and, since later 2008, it has expanded its business in which it has obtained sustained growth. In asset management the Company provides the market with portfolio-management services, with emphasis on Advisory and Discretionary Management services, besides the concept of innovative mutual funds. During 2007 the Company started operating in the field of urban rehabilitation, one of the first institutions to set up an urban rehabilitation fund. In 2009, as a result of the repositioning of the Orey Group, it extended its activities into the Private Equity area as well, through the launch of Orey Capital Partners, a fund specialised in the management of businesses in the Transport & Logistics sector. The path to the future has been set out, and the Company is now planning the launch of new products and services, always of an innovative nature.
