Samuel J. Palmisano

CEO of IBM, one of the world's largest technology companies, Palmisano has served as the company's chief executive officer, president, and chairman. He served as CEO from March 2002 and was elected chairman in October 2002, effective January 1, 2003, until January 2012. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Palmisano served as president and chief operating officer from 2000.
