Rajeev Sangal

Rajeev Sangal was noted for Natural Language Processing, Machine Translation and speech research in Indian Languages.

He was the founder and continuing director of International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad (IIIT-H), India. IIIT-H was an autonomous university set up as a not-for-profit public private partnership (NPPP) and was the first institute to be set up under this model in India in 1998.
