Orna Berry

The first woman to serve as chief scientist and head of the industrial R&D operation of the Israeli Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labour, Berry took on that role in 1996. An Israeli computer scientist, high-tech entrepreneur, and senior executive, she worked across the Israeli science and technology industries throughout her career.

Berry received the "Yekirat Hanegev" award from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in 2012. In 2021, she became Director of Technology in the office of the CTO at Google Cloud.
