Bio/Description
Named one of the "10 most powerful women in tech" by CNN in 2010, Fassberg spent 33 years rising through key positions at Intel, ultimately serving as general manager and CEO of Intel Israel. She was also inducted into the Women in Technology International Hall of Fame in 2009.
Fassberg immigrated from South Africa to Israel in 1975 and earned bachelor's and master's degrees in chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. After teaching high school chemistry for several years, she joined Intel in 1983 as a lithography engineer. Over the course of her career she held roles including factory manager and plant manager before reaching the top leadership position at Intel Israel. She retired in December 2016.
