Managing Audiovisual Digitization Projects #1615

Audiovisual media are found in most archival repositories and present numerous preservation, access, and technical challenges. Recent studies show that between degradation and equipment obsolescence, most media will be unable to be preserved in another10-15 years. Through lecture, writing exercises, and hands-on activities, participants will learn how to plan and implement the digitization and preservation of audiovisual materials.
