The Dell Insprion 1000 is a high-quality laptop that, although slightly older now, is still in use as of 2010. Dell sold the Inspiron 1000 in three configurations, which allowed those who only wanted a basic computer to pay less, rather than having to buy the more powerful version they did not need. All three Inspiron 1000 configurations came with a Intel Celeron Processor, running at 2.2 gigahertz (GHz).
