Videotape is a mobile app focused exclusively on new methods of digital video interaction. Traditionally, online video has been a one-way street; feedback and response to videos has been limited to a like or dislike icon or general text comments. Videotape changes that by allowing users to respond to video through video. Now with Videotape, real-time video creation, interaction, and distribution are packaged into one easy to use social media app. Videotape was founded by Greg Manriquez, CEO (previously the founder of NameDrive, a global domain brokerage and parking firm), Stephen Callender, CPO (previously the co-founder of Stellar Impeller, a design, public relations and events shop), Jay Oh, CTO (previously the co-founder of Qwiki, a mobile app that created stories from your video library), Dusty Allen, COO (previously an MLB player for the Detroit Tigers and San Diego Padres, financial entrepreneur and real estate developer) and Andrew Kramer, CFO (previously an associate at a finance company in NYC that specializes in facilitating mergers and acquisitions).
