Veebot, they are revolutionizing venipuncture through automation, medical imaging and machine precision.

The Veebot story begins with the need to draw blood from many patients in a short amount of time without the discomfort of failed needle sticks, inspiring two graduate students at Stanford University in their search for an engineering thesis project. Richard Harris and Joe Mygatt had met earlier while undergraduates at Princeton University, and had been exposed to Richard's father's clinical trial research organization, where he was constantly challenged by the large volume of blood draws to be executed in a timely fashion, on patient populations notoriously characterized by poor veins and needle stick anxiety. As fate would have it, Richard and Joe would find each other again while immersed in the machine learning, computer vision, and robotics ecosystem at Stanford, where many brilliant minds are driven by the ethos of performing work that matters, and where entrepreneurship far from short-term opportunism, is about changing the world.
