UWM Student Startup Challenge fosters innovation and entrepreneurial thinking through creativity and deadline-orientated projects. The challenge provides UWM students and recent alums with time and space to shape their ideas, take risks, and develop networks to share their stories with a broader community. Every Student Startup Challenge winner receives support for one year in the form of mentorship and training through workshops and one-on-one coaching, a product/service prototype development team, help with developing business model and plan, and support of $5,000 to $10,000 to kickstart the idea.
