UVision Air Ltd has developed the Hero suite of UAVs. These lightweight, low-heat unmanned aircraft carry munitions for battle scenarios. Once locked on a target, they loiter in the air and can activate their weaponry at any time. These UAVs are also called ''kamikaze drones'' since their end goal is to self-destruct into or near their target. The Hero aircraft can be launched from sea, land, or air. Deployed by canister and controlled by hand-held remote, the Hero UAVs can fly 5km40km, suitable for short-range strikes or longer-range missions. The smallest of the suite, the Hero 30, weighs approximately 7 pounds and can carry a 1-pound warhead.
