USA Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: USAT) is an American company known for its work with ePort, a credit and debit card payment technology for vending machines, kiosks and point-of-sale (POS) terminals. The company also produced the EnergyMiser, which reduces the energy consumption of vending machines.USA Technologies was founded in 1992 by George R. Jensen Jr., a former financial analyst and business entrepreneur. The company holds 76 patents for point-to-point wireless and wired WAN communications.
