TÜViT evaluates and offers certifications for IT products, systems and processes, and infrastructures. The company’s services include testing and certification, auditing, project consulting, project management, project improvement, protection against cybercrime, know-how development, managed services, and alliance for cyber security. TÜViT checks products against the Common Criteria (CC) standard and assists its clients up to the final certification by a national certification body such as the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI)). It also offers the opportunity of certification in Japan by IPA (Information-technology Promotion Agency). TÜViT is headquartered in Essen, Germany with presence in Siegen, Germany; Augsburg, Germany; and Taipei City, Taiwan.
