Over the past decade, we have produced a strong investment track record by remaining focused on a handful of industry sectors that we know well and backing founders and management teams in companies with exciting growth potential. When we stick to the sectors, business models and investment situations which we know best, we are able to make better investment decisions, be better partners to our management teams, and produce better outcomes for portfolio company employees and investors alike. The founders of Tritium have been successfully investing together for over a decade. During that time, the Tritium team has deployed over $625 million of capital and produced several, notable “wins” for investors, founders and employees alike. The careers of Tritium’s founders began at a global management consulting firm and continued at a well-established venture capital firm, where they shared responsibility for managing several billion dollars of capital. There, the team successfully launched a national, growth practice that grew from a “skunk works” effort to a large component of the firm’s investment strategy. In 2013, Tritium Partners was launched as an independent firm that could focus exclusively on lower middle market growth buyouts.
