The company provides Trigence AE software, which encapsulates applications at a level above the operating system and creates Application Capsules, which turn applications into a discrete object to create a virtualized environment, where applications run protected from each other and their underlying operating system. Its products enable companies to manage various applications throughout their lifecycle from development and delivery to maintenance and modernization; consolidate physical and virtual server environments; and manage and migrate Solaris, Linux, and Windows applications in the data center. In addition, the company offers installation, configuring, updating, monitoring, and auditing solutions. Trigence Corp. is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada with an additional office in New York. AppZero acquired the remaining assets of Trigence in 2009.
