Company Description

Stribe offers a plug-and-play service that enables users to create social networks on other websites.

Stribe is a plug and play service to instantly create a social network on any website. Founded in March 2008, Stribe is based in San Francisco & Paris. Founders Kamel Zeroual, Gaël Delalleau and Demba Diallo released the service in September 2009 during TechCrunch50. Using easy copy-and-paste javascript, Stribe offers blog, casual gaming or even e-commerce site administrators the ability to create their own customizable, freely-branded social network for their sites. Through the Stribe network service, a siteâ€s community can interact on all Stribe-enabled sites, allowing members to stay connected with their “tribes” or online communities. Stribe engages site visitors instantly and allows social interactions after an easy 5-minutes plug-and-play registration and configuration process, which can be fully customized and freely branded. Stribeâ€s business model is based on selling premium modules including analytics such as the Stribe Back-Office, which provides all key metrics on the siteâ€s community including social metrics, breakdown of users and their engagement times, comment analytics, metrics on ‘hidden activity†including private chats and messages, and the communityâ€s overall activity. Moving forward, the company plans to open its API for website developers and provides more and more premium modules.
