Storm Technology is the developer of a video player called Storm Player, the biggest internet video playing platform in China.

Beijing Storm Technology Co., Ltd. is the developer of a video player called Storm Player. Established in 2006, Storm Technology has strived to provide internet users with high-quality internet video entertainment experiences. It developed the player software Kuree, which quickly developed into one of China’s three biggest player software. In 2007, Kuree merged with the original Storm Video team to set up Beijing Storm Internet Technology Co., Ltd. and became the biggest video solutions provider of China internet video playing. By January 2009, Storm Player was playing over 150 million videos per day for internet users, with around 22 million people using the product every day. The video files played by Storm Player account for 50% of the total videos played on the internet in China, making it the biggest internet video playing platform in China.
