Stickyboard

Stickyboard is a social enterprise dedicated to bringing people together.

In 2010 they set out to help people connect with their community. They wanted to create a single space where people could discover what was going on around them and start to feel part of their neighbourhoods. So they left their jobs to build the 21st Century's Village Noticeboard. Starting from a bedroom they built a noticeboard for their local area, then they expanded it across London, and now they cover all 1.67 million UK postcodes with over 250,000 local items and partnerships with organisations up and down the country. Having completed their development in 2014 they opened up their enterprise to community ownership expanding their network of supporters across the country. Looking ahead they continue to work with people in the UK and abroad to build stronger communities.
