StartupSchool.in is dedicated to helping young people in India create mobile and web startups. It is located in Kochi, Kerala hosted by StartupVillage.in and run in partnership with Jaaga. Right now it is focused on aspiring software developers, but they have a track for designers coming soon. They host a couple of different programs to make this happen. Feb 10 – 16 they will be hosting an intensive 7 day workshop to help founders come together and identify an idea they want to work on. They have a studyhall program supporting people taking technical classes online, and they have a 3 month residential program in which they people stay at StartupSchool.in in Kochi and work full time learning technical skills and getting their startup off the ground without having to worry about paying for rent, food, electricity or internet.
