SSI Diagnostica developed, produced and sold in vitro diagnostica for clinical microbiology, veterinary diagnostics.

SSI Diagnostica was previously an independent business unit under Statens Serum Institut (SSI) in Denmark, a public enterprise under the Danish Ministry of Health. Since 1998, it has developed, produced and sold in vitro diagnostica for clinical microbiology, veterinary diagnostics, food, environmental and hygiene control to the home market as well as abroad. Its products are sold worldwide and encompass antisera and culture media from its own production plant in Hillerød, Denmark, as well as blood products from its own farm.
