Sportstar, which began as a Print Only multi-sport weekly on July 15, 1978, has been running successfully for the last 37 years. It is a cherished offering from The Hindu group, an institution with an innate interest in sport and which has been backing all athletic activity with whole-hearted zeal for more than a century through the sports pages of its flagship, The Hindu newspaper.
