RedCap is a web application that manages online surveys and databases.

REDCap was created in 2004 by Paul Harris at Vanderbilt University in response to clinical researchers needing a secure method for entering their data in a way that met the current standards of compliance and allowed users to be empowered to take more responsibility and control during the creation of their project/database while also providing easy, distributed access for users via the world wide web.
