Pocketweb was founded in 2008 by experienced developers and market experts in order to jointly create future mobile services together with customers from different industries. Since these early days of smartphones, we focus successfully on highest quality when it comes to our developers. In particular they cover areas as mobile development for iOS, Android, facebook and HTML5 as well as Java/Scala, Unix/Linux server, IT-architecture and APIs/backend integration. Back in 2008, Pocketweb launched one of the first location-based social networks on the test market in Australia/New Zealand: Pocket Life :registered:. Quickly, awards and prizes followed for other activities, as for example the 'Global Calling All Innovators Award' or 'European Satellite Navigation Competition' by ESA. Today, our core team works out of offices in Berlin, Germany and New Zealand, and, depending on the specific project phase, on-site with our customers.
