It offers a beacon-powered app that allows users to see where other users who have answered the polls and quizzes similar to them are on a live map. Play2Lead has been used by companies such as Samsung, Optus, and MilleniumSI. Its partners include Showgizmo and Infosalons. Play2Lead was launched in 2013 by Theresa Lim and its operations are headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
