Company Description
Plaxo is a cloud-based online address book that synchronizes, updates and unifies the user's contacts across multiple sources.
Plaxo helps keep people connected by solving the common and frustrating problem of out-of-date contact information. Users and their contacts store their information on Plaxo's servers. When a user edits their own information, the changes appear in the address books of all those who listed the user in their own address books. Because contacts are stored in a central location, it's possible to list connections between contacts and access the address book from anywhere. Napster co-founder, [Sean Parker](http://www.crunchbase.com/person/sean-parker), was one of Plaxo's founders. Plaxo sent out a news letter to all subscribers on October 1st 2017 that they were no longer accepting new signus and were shutting down the service effective 31st December 2017. They would begin purging user data on Jan 1st 2018.
