Phonotonic develops smart objects and apps that change everyone's experience with music.

Phonotonic are a French startup based in Paris. They are a group of musicians, designers, engineers and researchers, all at the same time. They always found it frustrating to have to spend so many years learning an instrument before you can start to enjoy making music. Phonotonic was founded in 2011 after ten years of extensive research at IRCAM, the world leading lab in music and sound technology. Nicolas has been leading extensive work on new ways to make and perform music, seeking to create new experiences for expert musicians. The technology was awarded 1st prize of Guthman Competition and exhibited at MoMA, NYC. Now they think it is time to bring this technology to a broader audience, to bring it to you. This is Phonotonic.
