Pee Dee Precision is a venture from the Coastal Plains to the Till Plains. Pee Dee Precision’s purpose is to advance agriculture in the deep South by placing an entry in the Agbot Challenge. The Abot challenge is to us a cross between a tractor show, a horse race, and a robot challenge. To meet this challenge their endeavor is (1) to create a good machine, (2) to put the machine and its software through testing trials, and (3) to pit the machine against other machines in a competition to gauge the quality of their driver-less rigs. Pee Dee Precision is a group of guys in the deep South building Agbots. Turning the Agbot project into a professional research operation or a business venture is certainly doable with the team’s credentials; however, at the current point they are learning the design process for drones and having fun.
