The company offers cloud solutions; IT infrastructure solutioins including colocation and private network services; and managed services including cloud-based data storage and managed security. The company was founded in 2000 by David Jones and Nick Kottyan, two executives with experience in the technology and telecommunications industries, with the purpose of providing data center services to mid-market businesses, particularly in emerging growth markets. The company's first data center was opened in Jacksonville, Florida in 2000. As of 2013, the company owns and operates data center facilities in Atlanta, Georgia; Cincinnati, Ohio; Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville, Florida; Louisville, Kentucky; Nashville, Tennessee; Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina; and Richmond, Virginia.
