Its global headquarters are strategically located in China, with regional headquarters in North America, Asia Pacific, and Europe. Pactera was established in 1995 after HiSoft Technology International Limited merged with VanceInfo Technologies Inc. From 2004 to 2006, it received investment from GGV Capital, Sequoia Capital, and Legend Investment Advisor. It was listed in NASDAQ but was delisted on March 28, 2014, after it was acquired by a consortium led by the Blackstone Group.
