The founder team has previous experience with Internet start-ups, consulting Fortune 500 companies on marketing to gamers, e-commerce and also consists of former professional gamers. own3D was an online video service for gamers that offers trailers, how-to guides, gameplay movies, tournament coverage, reviews and more. own3D started off with substantial content for professional gamers and was aspiring to service all segments of the gaming community, including casual gamers.
