Optensity isa software product company that uses an innovative platform for building analytics to find meaning in big data.

Optensity was founded in 2010 by Pamela Arya, Bill Lenz, Frank White and Scott Zimmer. Headquartered in northern Virginia, their motivation was to solve the problem of rapidly exploiting new kinds of sensor data. AppSymphony is the firm's flagship product. AppSymphony rapidly builds advanced analytic applications through a composed workflow platform. AppSymphony orchestrates execution in any type of compute infrastructure or cloud - hybrid, AWS, and all flavors of Hadoop.
