Open Push Service (OPS) allows mobile app developers to quickly stand up and use push notifications in their app by providing the libraries necessary to connect existing Amazon SNS accounts. Amazon SNS (Simple Notification Service) is part of the AWS family of products; at it's core it's a push messaging platform for use with mobile apps. Open Push Service are a set of FREE libraries and other utilities that allow developers to spend less time coding the tools necessary to deliver mobile push notification and devote their time to building monetization strategies within their app. The OPS libraries include a document composer giving users of SNS a clean way of creating content for their push notifications. The only thing you need to use the OPS libraries are your Amazon credentials.
