Citizen Photojournalism Platform

Onpublico is a platform where citizens share newsworthy events to keep each other informed. Citizens report and update the news by taking pictures and videos with their phones, with short captions and tags providing additional detail. Onpublico's goal is to create a public and open space where people work together to keep each other aware of what’s happening around them as it’s happening. It was founded in 2013 and launched in January, 2014. Onpublico has offices in San Francisco and Valencia.
