OneTap Promotions is a UK based startup providing NFC solutions and business cards in the emerging Near Field Communications industry. OneTap has developed reusable plastic business cards and disposable paper business cards that link via NFC to a digital profile of an individual or business. OneTap profiles are stored in the cloud and are pulled down to the scanning device on demand, enabling the profile information to be updated without re-encoding the NFC tags. OneTap also provides businesses with a bulk management facility for their employees' business cards and real-time analytical data on the usage of the cards. OneTap has taken an integrated end-to-end approach choosing to host a cloud service as well as producing and encoding the cards. This integrated solution aims to improve compatibility with a wide range of competing smart devices and lift the responsibility of encoding the cards from the customer.
