Ondax

Ondax designs, manufactures and markets high-performance holographic optical filters, wavelength-stabilized laser sources.

Ondax was founded in 2000 by a team from the California Institute of Technology and the University of Bonn. Ondax built a manufacturing infrastructure for high volume production to produce Volume Holographic Gratings. The Volume Holographic Grating has many advantages over thin film and fiber Bragg gratings. The narrow-band filtering capability in reflection mode (0.1 nm) over a large aperture (25 mm) is unique. This unique filtering technology is used in high-power laser diodes wavelength stabilization, beam combining, astronomy multi-line filtering, and spectral imaging.
