Children using Oddizzi can view the world through the eyes of people who are passionate about the places they are sharing. Their growing body of carefully managed content builds a solid understanding of the people, places and cultures of the world. It is widely used in schools for geography and social studies, global citizenship topic work and to build research skills. It can support literacy topics and is a great CLIL resource for language-learners. Oddizzi's original learning content is produced by their community of teachers, travel-writers, geographers and sometimes the children themselves. Their informative pages include films, photographs, maps and quizzes. They are designed and written with an eye for detail and a consideration of how they might be used in the classroom to engage and inspire learners. Oddizzi members get involved by communicating together, using the safe ClassPals virtual postcard messenger, and by taking part in content creation projects to share on Oddizzi.com.
