Oceanleap offers a cloud platform and API tools built specifically for wearables.

Oceanleap was founded in 2013 by a former GM at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and an architect from Tableau Software. Having held a center seat at the cloud computing and data analytics revolution, the founders wanted to do for wearables what AWS did for developers. They believe they are in the very early innings of the wearables revolution. Innovation in wearables will reinvent and reimagine the worlds of health, fitness, sporting, travel, and more. Wearables will come in many shapes, sizes, and forms ranging from smart watches, fitness trackers, eye glasses, clothes and apparel, jewelry, shoes, stick-ons, clip-ons, and more. They are the first company to offer a cloud platform, built specifically for wearables. Their platform enables wearable device makers and app builders to bring their products to market quickly and inexpensively.
