NYC Tech Connect

NYC Tech Connect launched in January 2011 as a public-private partnership funded jointly by the Partnership for New York City Fund.

NYC Tech Connect is a new public-private partnership funded jointly by the Partnership Fund for New York City, the Partnership for New York City and the New York City Council. Their mission is to foster the development of a stronger entrepreneurial ecosystem in NYC in the hard sciences (including bioscience, engineering, cleantech and material science). Through collaboration with universities and other strategic partners, NYC Tech Connect will provide programs, expertise and resources designed to accelerate the development of entrepreneurs and their resulting technology start-ups. One of the first initiatives is the establishment of an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for New York City (EIR) program. This is a prestigious opportunity for experienced entrepreneurs to help seed the ecosystem while looking for their next start-up.
