Founded in the city of Barcelona at the end of 2011, NOU-U is a society managed by professionals within the MICE and information technology markets. NOU-U has created an IT application with the aim of being the tool of the MICE market and change the current business model: it incorporates the benefits that online applications have provided in other economic sectors into this market. The funding for the project is provided by GAES, a solid group which operates in various countries. NOU-U is a pioneering IT application for the organization, management and execution of all kinds of services for groups in the MICE market. It allows direct communication between buyers and suppliers both in a commercial and operational environment. It’s based on a new design of the existing work flows within the sector and on an advanced use of information technology. The application’s users benefit from the following advantages: Service suppliers: it offers them expanded reach of their promotional activities, an improvement in business processes and integration with their business partners, reducing costs and raising the quality of service.
