MusicDataGeeks specializes in engineering and data science for the music industry.

seevl is not yet-another-music-app, it's a data-driven platform applied to music. We have developed a unique platform that mines the Web to build a giant graph of entities (musicians, genres, record labels, relations between them, etc.), on top of which we apply our stack of search, recommendations, and discovery algorithms. So far, we've applied this platform to music, and use it as the core infrastructure of seevl.fm. In the future, we will expand our reach to other media domains. seevl is the main product of MDG Web (Music and Data Geeks, http://mdg.io), a spin-out from DERI (http://deri.ie), world's largest Semantic Web R&D lab.
