Music Treasures Company has been serving the needs of music and dance educators, musicians, and students since 1968. Founded by a prominent music teacher and bandleader in Richmond, Virginia, the business was acquired by Mr. Daniel Tuszynski Jr, a former General Electric business executive, in 1991. Under Mr. Tuszynski, the company expanded the product line to over 5000 items and began publishing and distributing a 150 page catalog. In 1996, Music Treasures Company was relocated to a modern distribution facility in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Today, Music Treasures, combined with several hundred business partners, offers an extensive line of products and services unmatched in the music industry.
