Moviestorm is a digital animated movie software tool that operates as a virtual movie studio.

Cambridge UK start up with a digital animated movie software tool called Moviestorm - a virtual movie-studio. A Public Beta version of Moviestorm has been available since mid-2007. Target market is 16-35, primarily US and other English-speaking. Relaunched in January 2010 with a new and redesigned product-offering and publishing platform, with Facebook app and 'lite' versions of Moviestorm (http://www.moviestorm.co.uk/moviestorm/widgets/). Business model is now a free 30-day subscription to the software and platform, upselling to full subscriptions and points-based transactions for content packs providing additional characters, sets, sounds & animations. Subsidiary products to attract users include a range of free Facebook applications which allow users to create and share movies in a Web browser.
